That's the one... As Nick says, I'm really returning the favour from when John Spiers depped for Cookie in my band for six gigs last year. Incidentally, for my autumn dates we'll need a dep for Nick again - several names (both up-and-coming and mega-famous in the melodeon world) have come up as possibles - who would you most like to see keeping the melodeon stool warm?

Anyway, Shhhhhh! I hope I've not let cats out of bags too soon with indiscreet tweeting... All this is up to Bellowhead and their manager - I was just excited about it!

Quite, mum is indeed the word *taps nose*. Please do let us know when it's signed and sealed as they say, then we can do the "ohh we are so proud, isn't he going to be great" thing properly (incidentally I think its a really good thing to do, go you smiling smiley).

Hello

Delighted to hear Jim is joining Bellowhead in Wales, not so happy Benji is leaving but we'll just have to go and see Seth more often!

There'll be a huge welcome in the hillside for you Jim! smiling smiley

The plan has now changed by the way.

I'm now doing three gigs from Jan 29th-31st (Tenby, Wrexham and Aberystwyth). Just in case you were planning to come and see it. It's a shame to miss the Cardiff one as thats close to home, but it's not up to me.

Ok I could be way off the mark here, but in the video with John and Jon talking about folk traditions at Christmas the film cuts to the audience and I swear I saw Patrick Wolf. Can anybody confirm/deny? Because it would make him just that little bit more awesome if he was.
