hey all,
Don't normally join these things but you lot seem friendly and I can't help being struck by the strange and often mystical ways people find Jim Moray. Clearly some otherworldly force is at hand. (and not just with the haunting arrangements and celestial voice - too much already???) I encountered him after a night of exorcising ghosts, imbibing spirits and trying to tune in a pal's super huge tv. The only station available was showing woodland animals playing Early One Morning. I went out next day and bought Sweet England.
A guy I met in a pub found an MP3 player half way through the Great Glen and the only song on it was Lord Bateman.
Bizarre or what? Anyone else have an interesting intro?

xxx

PS Apropos of all these 'Southern' gigs. How deep exactly was the snow?

Hi Willow, welcome aboard.

Um, my story isn't quite so interesting. The guy who sits behind me at work lent me Sweet England (EDIT: of course, i got my own copy afterwards). Slightly more interesting is that i work at the university where Jim studied, but i started just after he'd graduated so never saw him walking these hallowed halls.
