Horkstow Grange

Have been playing this track to death over the last few days and really like it.

I can't work out whether it was done by Jim singing all the harmonies (which were then post-processed by a vocoder or Roland digital harmoniser or some such) or whether he sang only the lead vocal and then the harmonies were 'generated'.

I am slightly inclining towards thinking the latter, but am curious to know which is the case.

Sounds tremendous - however it was done.

Anybody know?

Tis an interesting effect, but what's wrong with singing and multi-tracking each line?
