Hi again Jim,

I am so pleased to see that you are playing at my Friend Gerry`s club
next month. :-)
Is it going to be a Solo gig or a band one please?
I Love this venue even if its on the Opposite side of London from where I live. :-)

Peace,
Andrew.

I meant to ask as well Jim, will you be selling the album at this Gig
as I will be buying a few copies if so. :-)

Peace,
Andrew.

It's a solo gig - it'll be my first Jim Moray show for five months! I've done a few gigs with other bands, and we're touring the Cecil Sharp Project before then, but I haven't played my own songs in front of an audience since October.

And yes, I should have copies of Skulk with me by then.

Anyone else on here coming to see Jim at the Cabage Patch?
Gerry says the tickets are selling well. :-)

Peace,
Andrew.

I will be schlepping over from North London again, although I haven't been on here for ages so won't be a face to a name.

Hi All,

Well it was a Fantastic Gig last night at the Cabbage Patch,
Jim was on Form and his Voice was just Beautiful. :-)
It was full and I pleased to say that everyone was quiet which
is a plus as far as im concerned. :-)
You are All in for a treat when he plays where you are,
He played a really lovely version of "If It`s True" on Piano
and My God it really was Fantastic, I would Love that version. :-)
Jim also sang "Horkstow Grange" on the piano and he had that tracked
voice of his ala the download and album version of it and it sounded
impressive.
We had quite a few from the new album and a smattering from previous albums
as well and Jim played my request of Poverty Knock but I never got Valentine.
Next time I hope.
Thank you for some nice chat Jim at the half time break and after it finished,
your a Gent Jim. :-)
Anyway as I said at the start You certainly have a treat in store for you and I
only wish that I could attend more of the shows you lucky lot. :-)

Peace,
Andrew.

Thanks for that Andrew - I'm of to the gig in Corsham in 16th March, and am really looking forward as it's too long (last June) since I had my Jim-Fix!!

I was wondering if he might do Horkstow Grange, and how all the voices would come together, so I'm looking forward to that also!!

I might put a request in for Black Joke, but not sure if that can be performed at a solo gig (I'm sure he played it with Saul at one of the previous gigs I went to!!) winking smiley

Cheers!

Thanks for that Andrew, it augurs well for the rest of the tour - April 18th seems a long way away right now. I hope Jim does Horkstow Grange at the Liverpool gig, maybe The 18th Of June too. I'm totally besotted with Seven Long Years, but don't know if it could be done live as it's the orchestral arrangements that get to me every time.
